Meeting Regulatory Deadline & Zero Impact on Terminal Operations

The key challenge of the project was related to the fast tracked nature of scheduling due the firm regulatory deadline. The project was also challenged to have zero impact to day-to-day operations at the terminal which is one of the busiest terminals in North America.

Outcome

Value Engineering and Efficient Subcontractor Management

The project scope was developed with client with a number of value engineering elements resulting in significant cost savings and schedule savings. During Construction, TWD managed 6 subcontractors with concurrent and competing schedules. The project was delivered on time with a good safety record.
