What We Do

Our project development services include accurate cost estimation, site selection studies, comprehensive risk analysis, value engineering, conceptual layouts, and market assessments. Through our multidisciplinary expertise and focus on innovation, we deliver successful projects and empower our clients to achieve their project goals.

TWD’s PERFORM™ program has a comprehensivecapital cost estimating process, which can be applied during front endengineering development of a project through the design, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases.

Our cost estimating process is based on AACE(Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering) and CII (ConstructionIndustry Institute) principles and practices. This is combined with ourin-house industry experience, project data, and cost risk analysis techniquesto provide the foundation for bankable project cost estimates that our clientscan trust.

TWD’s PERFORM™ program promotes a staged or “gated process” approach to project execution. Owners should fully assess the feasibility and benefits of a project before committing a significant amount of capital dollars. The degree of upfront work should depend on a balancing of the project justifications and motivations against the risk tolerance of their organization.

We apply a risk-based approach to determine the strategy behind project development efforts. Key risks will be analyzed and mitigated as appropriate to provide a strong foundation for the project.
