Producing Clean, Renewable Biodiesel

Biodiesel is a clean-burning, renewable, organic-based fuel that replaces/works in conjunction with, petroleum based diesel fuels. The new plant produces ASTM 6751 quality biodiesel made primarily from Canadian vegetable oils such as, canola and soybean.

Outcome

Comprehensive EPCM Execution: Efficiency and Precision

The outcome of the turnkey project was a resounding success, thanks to the full EPCM project execution with single-point accountability. The project encompassed all aspects of detailed engineering, including process, mechanical, piping, electrical, controls, instrumentation, and civil/structural engineering. The flexible procurement program ensured efficiency in acquiring necessary resources. The coordination between construction and engineering design guaranteed consistency throughout the project. Full construction scheduling and cost controls were implemented, contributing to a streamlined and cost-effective process. The stewardship of the construction safety program prioritized the well-being of all involved.

The project's fast-tracked nature was met with precision, and the coordination and management of permits and inspections were seamlessly executed. Notably, the creation of all construction and shop fabrication drawings from a 3D model ensured unparalleled accuracy in the final product, marking the project's completion as a benchmark in excellence and comprehensive project management.
