Gary is TWD’s Director of Engineering for Western Canada and has been with TWD since 2008. He brings over 20 years of experience with project development, project management, Mechanical Engineering, and team leadership across small and large scale projects.

A practical problem solver proficient in piping, mechanical equipment, instrumentation, and controls, with a good understanding of electrical and civil\structural requirements in brownfield projects. Gary can see the whole picture and lead the project team towards fit for purpose solutions.

Gary developed an interest in how things work and mechanical systems from his father who was a respected small engine mechanic, this and a love of motorcycles and motorized transportation in general led him to pursue Mechanical Engineering. Originating from Newfoundland, Gary worked and schooled himself across the country, attending university in NF, PEI, AB, and ultimately graduating from the University of Calgary. Gary is now a Professional Engineer with licenses in, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, and British Columbia.

Fred is our VP, Projects Execution, in our major project group with over 30 years of experience with project development, project management, engineering design and construction as well as facility operations and maintenance in a wide variety of industries and on projects up to $17 billion in value. Fred is adept at seeing projects from a client’s perspective and delivers value with a “best for project” mindset.

Fred provides professional support to our clients and to our team, with a particular focus on project development, project execution strategies, and risk management. As part of our senior leadership team, Fred is proudly involved in all aspects of managing TWD. This includes strategic growth, business development, operations (project management, engineering, procurement, construction management, quality, and HSSE) and management consulting.

Fred graduated from Memorial University of Newfoundland in 1989 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Fred is a Professional Engineer with Licenses in Ontario and Newfoundland. Fred spent the first 23 years of his career on the Owners side, before moving to the EPCM side. His background gives him a balanced view when developing projects. Just like the “Rock” he comes from, your project will be built on a solid foundation when working with Fred and his team!

Jennifer is a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with over 18 years of experience leading EPC projects across the energy, industrial, and infrastructure sectors. Her background spans oil & gas, biofuels, terminals, pipelines, and energy transition technologies, with deep expertise guiding projects from early concept development and FEL-1/FEL-2/FEL-3 through detailed engineering and execution.

Throughout her career, Jennifer has led multi-disciplinary engineering teams and overseen complex project portfolios, with a strong focus on HSSEQ governance, technical assurance, constructability, and risk management. She is known for balancing technical rigor with practical delivery, supporting projects ranging from brownfield optimizations to large-scale energy facilities, while fostering high-performing teams and trusted client relationships.

Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Chemical Engineering (Co-operative Program) from the University of Waterloo and participated in an international engineering study program at Monash University in Australia, bringing a global perspective to her work and leadership approach.

Outside of work, Jennifer values spending time with family, staying active through fitness, traveling, and exploring diverse cuisines—reflecting a balanced, disciplined, and globally curious mindset.

Athina is a valuable member of the Civil/Structural Engineering & Business Development team at TWD Hellas, the first European office of TWD. Athina is part of this dynamic team, which executes Civil and Structural projects that contribute to TWD's global initiatives. Additionally, Athina takes on a proactive role in Business Development for the Greek office, showcasing her versatile skill set. Athina is dedicated to ensuring the success and growth of TWD's endeavors, both locally and internationally.

As a member of the Civil/Structural Engineering & Business Development team, Athina combines technical expertise with a strategic mindset to address the unique challenges our clients face.

Athina seamlessly integrates her dual roles as a Civil Engineer and at Sales, demonstrating a client-focused strategy. Furthermore, Athina is also part of presenting project proposals that outline not only the technical aspects but also the tangible benefits and added value proposed solutions bring. This transparent and client-centric communication style ensures that clients not only understand the engineering intricacies but also perceive the direct impact on their daily routines.

Athina is a proud graduate of the Civil Engineering department at the University of Thessaly, Greece, where she earned her M.Eng. in 2019. With an educational background in Civil Engineering, she has successfully contributed to a range of projects at TWD.

Her professional journey began in a family business, where she learned the value of accountability in navigating the intricate realm of civil engineering while cultivating essential skills in sales. This initial experience laid the foundation for her multifaceted approach, blending the precision of engineering solutions with the strategic insights of sales.

When not immersed in civil / structural projects or business strategies, Athina finds solace in the art of ceramics. Athina approaches each endeavor with the same enthusiasm and dedication, creating a harmonious blend of engineering precision and artistic flair. Meet Kimberley, our HR Program & Project Manager at TWD. With over a decade of progressive experience in HR and 5 years in project management, program coordination, and communications, Kimberley’s diverse skillset spans private, public, and non-profit sectors across various industries.

Kimberley plays a pivotal role in driving organizational success by designing, implementing, and managing HR programs and projects that align with strategic goals. As a driving force behind the modernization of HR practices, she champions and facilitates initiatives aimed at continuously improving the employee experience and supporting organizational growth.

She collaborates closely with key stakeholders, analyzes insights from employee surveys, and monitors HR trends to identify needs, prioritize initiatives, and develop strategic solutions spanning all HR functions, including employee engagement, learning and development, total rewards, talent management, corporate communications, wellness, policy, & people management systems.

Bringing positive energy, authenticity, and a continuous improvement mindset, Kimberley consistently achieves results that balance employee perspectives with organizational goals.

Hailing from the frosty enclave of Sault Ste. Marie in Northern Ontario, affectionately dubbed ‘The Soo’, she is a passionate nature enthusiast. Whether she’s hiking amidst the trees, walking along the water’s edge, pedaling through trails, paddling down rivers, or camping with family and friends, Kimberley finds solace and inspiration in the great outdoors.

Her journey to HR wasn’t a straight line; it was more of a scenic route filled with valuable experiences and unexpected twists and turns. Armed with a multidisciplinary education in Psychology, Business, and Public Relations, Kimberley stumbled into HR by chance – and it turned out to be the perfect fit. And while she may not have had a roadmap at the outset, she’s grateful for the winding path that led her here.

Rich is TWD’s Business Development Manager for US Operations with more than 42 years of experience in developing relationships, partnerships and servicing accounts. His expertise is in building new network connections, promoting TWD and expanding our client base. He is a results oriented individual with a proven track record of improving the market position of TWD and maximizing opportunities for financial growth. Adept in building strong relationships with clients.

Rich is a Graduate of Washington and Jefferson College with the ability to stay focused as proven by his completion of “6” Marathons.

Marian is the Strategic Growth Director for the Eastern Organization, with over 20 years of project management and engineering experience across diverse industries, managing multi-million-dollar capital projects.

Marian has built a solid and trusting relationship with TWDs top tier clients establishing herself as a leading figure in client stewardship initiatives.  She has overseen the successful completion of multiple large-scale engineering, procurement and construction projects spanning across Ontario, Quebec and Alberta. She is dedicated to resolving client concerns ranging from project scope definition to fast-tracked project schedules and ensuring disciplined budget control.  Her collaborative approach involves working closely with internal teams to navigate challenges effectively, and consistently meet client expectations.

In her latest role, Marian continues to build and maintain client relationships, while contributing significantly to the development and execution of TWDs regional growth plans as an integral member of the Eastern Leadership Team.

Marian is a graduate of Western University, having earned her degree in Chemical & Biochemical Engineering. She is a Professional Engineer of Ontario and has maintained her Project Management Professional (PMP) designation for nearly 20 years. Chad is the Regional Manager for TWD’s Sarnia and Atlantic offices with over 20 years of experience in oil and gas operations, project development, project management. After 15 years with owner operator companies in Alberta Chad relocated to Sarnia where with TWD Chad focuses on brownfield projects within the refinery and chemical complexes in Sarnia and Saint John.

He provides leadership for our team, with a particular focus on responsible and nimble project execution for our clients. Chad ensures his team is available and willing to provide the solutions for our clients needs on their schedule. Chad has built a multidisciplinary team of engineers and designers who share his vision for client satisfaction.  

Chad graduated from Queen’s University’s Engineering Chemistry program in 2002. Chad is a Professional Engineer with licenses in Ontario and Alberta. Outside of work you can find Chad undoing one of his swimming, biking or running work outs with friends over a mug of Sarnia’s many excellent breweries.

Milt is involved in all aspects of business management including strategic growth, business development, quality, HSSE, operations/execution (early conceptual development and project feasibility, design development, detailed engineering, procurement, construction management, commissioning), Human Resources, and finance/accounting.

Latha is a seasoned professional with over two decades of experience in Human Resources, currently serving as the Director of Human Resources at TWD. Having dedicated 14 years to the company, Latha brings a wealth of expertise in various HR functions, such as talent acquisition, employee relations and organizational culture enhancement.

In her role as Director of Human Resources, Latha’s responsibility is to strategically lead and oversee all aspects of the human resources function within TWD. This includes developing and implementing HR strategies that align with the company's objectives, managing talent acquisition and retention efforts, ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations, fostering positive employee relations, implementing performance management systems, overseeing compensation and benefits programs, and driving initiatives to enhance employee engagement and development.

Latha holds a degree in Sociology from Western University and has achieved the designations of Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) and Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL). Beyond her professional endeavors, Latha is a passionate traveler, finding inspiration through exploring new cultures and destinations. She also has a keen eye for photography, capturing moments that resonate with her wherever she goes.
