FUELS TERMINAL UPGRADE - ETHANOL BLENDING

Project Highlights:
  • Upgraded existing conventional fuels terminal to facilitate ethanol blending requirments per new Alberta Renewable Fuels Standard (RFS) regulations requiring a pooled average of 5% ethanol in fuels.
     

  • Involved the design and installation of 2 new 8,000 BBLs ethanol storage tanks, ethanol piping, pumps, ethanol offloading system, blending system, automation, MCC upgrades, integration into the existing infrastructure. 
     

  • Terminal throughput is approximately 4MML/day 
     

  • Zero impact to day-to-day operations of terminal
     

  • Expedited, Regulatory Driven Schedule
     

  • Managed 6 subcontractors with concurrent and competing schedules
